Puerto Plata... Lifestyle tropical beach resort & spa.
Anyone have feedback on Puerto Plata, DR in general??
Ive been to Punta cana, loved it. Not sure about this part of the island.
Also, anyone ever been to Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & spa?? Any feedback would be awesome!! THANK YOU

My co-worker went here and loved it so much she bought a time share.
From what she told me, it's really nice but the beaches are much, much nicer in Punta Cana.

The Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort (otherwise known as The Lifestyle Hacienda Resort) is amazing !! It's absolutely beautiful, with so many luxurious amenities.

i have a freind who has a timeshare there and loves it. he offered for us to use his discount. i looked at the website quickly and it didnt seem very descriptive.
ive been to iberostar in puerto plata and loved it.
the beaches in PP arent as "nice" as punta cana. there's more trees and its not as flat (at least the 3 different places i went to). but PP is as cheap as you're going to get for all inclusives.

Went to the Riu in Puerto Plata several years ago. The beach was really nice, the resort not so much.
I agree with the PP about Puerto Plata being the cheapest AI.

Puerto Plata is situated on the Atlantic Ocean so the beaches are similar to Florida. Punta Cana is on the caribbean sea.
The Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort....(Lifestyle Hacienda-Lifestyle Holidays) has a lot of luxurious amenities. For instance, they have large beds you can recline on at the beach, a cool whirlpool etc. The drinks are top shelf, (which some all inclusives don't offer). They also import their food for their VIP restaurants. They serve lobster, rack of lamb, filet mignon etc at the VIP Gourmet. You can't beat the price and the amount of pampering. The villas are incredible, and the junior suites are really affordableThe flight is also 3 hours and the resort is 20 minutes from the airport. Lifestyle Holidays also has resorts in Punta Cana.
Visit the vacation club website, it's really informative and has a ton of photos.
