Amazon registry...

Is anyone using this? I am from Pittsburgh not NY so its either use Babies r us or a not so great place (i.e. Target ect.). I have been considering using Amazon because everything is like at least 20 dollars cheaper..somethings are even more discounted! However, I feel like I am unsure if my family would use Amazon...i'd do a split between the 2 but not sure if i'd end up getting screwed and no one purchasing bigger items if posted on Amazon...

UGH!

i am. I just doubled the bigger items so if it gets bought on amazon i'll delete it off BBB. that way people have the choice if they want to buy it on amazon and save $$$

Re: Amazon registry...

I definitely plan to... I used Amazon for my bridal shower registry and a lot of people who couldn't make it sent gifts from Amazon - so convenient, esp with free shipping

I did, i was orginally on Target but realized the same stuff on Amazon was usually a few dollars cheaper and i liked the free 2 day shipping and the easy returns.

I'm registered at BBB, BRU and on Amazon. I chose the amazon list to put all the children's books I want to start the baby's library (I'm an early childhood teacher, so this was very important to me). I also added stuff from Baby Bargains that I didn't see in either BRU or BBB. But I also have family members that I know use it.

Re: Amazon registry...

I am registered at BBB BRU & Amazon, I put multiples in case some people don't like to buy online, I just keep an eye on it and delete where I need to.

So far the most has been purchased from Amazon.

ITA with all of this.

I loved my amazon registry. I also loved buying things off it after. I keep buying things now too lol. Amazon is so amazingly convenient.

I split and did Amazon and BRU, and got most of my big things from the amazon site, but I did have my mom spread the word that amazon was great, easy to use, and had better prices (which it does)!

BRU is ok at best, but i went there for the people who I KNEW would not shop online!

Re: Amazon registry...

I registered at BBB and Amazon and people have been buying from both registries. The older generation prefers to buy at BBB and the younger ones have been getting everything at Amazon. I made sure that when the baby shower invitations were sent there was an extra card with both BBB and Amazon registries pointed out clearly and in bold colors...Chat Icon just in case they missed that on the invite.

We also have plenty of family that live in different states and won't be able to make it to the baby shower. We also sent them an invitation. It is easier for them to make the purchase on Amazon and have it delivered straight to our home.
