does anyone else feel like they're kinda addicted to traveling?

i feel like sometimes it gets to be a bit much with me but i love it so much

so far i've this year i've gone to:

punta cana
houston

and i also have booked for the rest of the year:

boston
houston
hawaii
california (napa, san fran, yosemite)

we're booking a trip to rehoboth beach this week, and are still talking about doing jamaica in the late fall

i think i have issues...

I've been addicted to travelling for years.

This year I've been to:
NY, Seoul, Sydney (over Xmas and New Year's)

London

Bike trip around the Netherlands

Planned for the summer:
Bike trip somewhere in the Black Forest
Berlin
Prague
Munich
Sicily

(We are in Germany, so it's much easier to take a 4 day weekend and DH gets 6 weeks vacation)

Haven't planned out the fall and Xmas yet. We're pretty sure NY for Xmas and New Year's.

I am! But I dont have the funds to travel to everywhere I want multiple times a year unfortunately. But we do travel far more than anyone else in both of our families do.

Yes, I totally am!

We just did cruise in March, we're going to New Orleans in June (part business for me), Ireland in September, upstate NY in October and another cruise (Southern Caribbean) in December.

I am completely addicted to the cruises, especailly. I am on the RCCL website all the time looking at their HotDeals.

I wish I could travel all the time! Dh and I always have that conversation while we're on vacation "If we had a lot of money, we'd never be home!"

We just got back from Vegas a few days ago and I'm already researching the next trip. Hopefully Negril Jamaica in November!

Definitely. I'm lucky I get to travel for work. This year I've been to:
Zurich
Freeport, Bahamas
Florence, Italy (via Milan)

DH and I are doing a week in Montauk over our anni. Chicago in December for a wedding. We are trying to plan a trip to Brussels over Christmas.

I think if you can swing it without getting into debt then go for it!!!

When you're old and married with kids like me, trust me, you won't be able to.

Yesssss!!!

We toned it down this year since we're doing a lot of work on the outside of the house so most of our traveling will be inside the country but we've been averaging 4-5 trips a year... we really do love seeing new things

But this year so far we only have gone or plan on going to...

Still trying to plan a anniversary trip someplace tropical and I also have to squeeze in my annual Disney trip which I MAY have to trade in for a NOLA trip... we'll see

Yes!!! We love it (and we have 2 kids - proof that kids don't have to slow you down ) and travel as much as possible!
Since December, we have been to:
Aruba
Florida (twice, once in February and once in March)
Mexico

We are going to do day trips in June (Great Adventure, Sesame Place, etc)
East Hampton some time in August (we live in NJ)
and we have planned to go back to Aruba in December
We are still planning on possibly going to Disney some time this year.

DH travels a LOT for work so most of our trips are on miles

Definitely!!! The past few years I've really been going to a bunch of places I've never been before..

Last year: Salem MA, VA
This year: Cozumel, Las Vegas/Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, St. Lucia
and for next year - I'd like to explore more of the Caribbean and start planning for a trip to Egypt..

we are crazy. serious serious wanderlust here.

last year (with an infant/early toddler) we drove to Miami, then took a family trip to Barcelona and environs, Florence-Bologna-Milan, Italy.

this year we are doing some mini vacations...so far we are planning

VA-DC for Mem day Weekend,

Erie PA for a long weekend at the end of June

another long weekend either in Maine or out on the Island (beachy dunes please!)

and a few other weekend trips.

next year we already have a trip to Aruba in the works for April '12and will be going back to Spain/Italy to see family in June/July of '12.

I look at it this way. Some people spend their money on expensive pocketbooks, clothes, cars, etc. I spend mine on travelling.

We love to travel and even with a child now, we do it all the time.

I do anticipate we will slow down a bit with our second almost here, but it's not something I am ever willing to give up.
