Benadryl to sleep?

Has anyones OB said to take Benadryl to sleep?
Also, they apparently do not make Benadryl anymore, but the pharmacist gave me an allergy medicine that is the same thing as Benadryl....do you think thats ok?

My OB told me that Benadryl is fine.

I'm confused as to why the pharmacist told you they don't make Benadryl anymore. They do, and also Benadryl is the active ingredient in Tylenol PM so you can get it there too. Or just buy generic - that's what I do. The Rite-Aid brand or whatever, it's the same formula, just less money.
