? about 6 week post-partum check up
do they do an internal exam? i had a c/s

I had a c also and I was told that I was going to have a full exam at 6 weeks. At 2 I had an incision check.

I did NOT have a c-section but I DID have an internal at the 6 week follow-up. My stitches were not fully healed and I was nursing (which apparently "dries you up" down there) it hurt like h e ll. 
PS...ok so I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear, but I wish someone had warned me beforehand!

Nooo thank you and thank to op. Having an internal didn't even cross my mind.  time to load up on the motrin i guess!
