TMI but I need to know
I was pregnant with twins but recently found out one stopped developing. I started bleeding last tuesday and rushed to my dr. He told us that the bleeding can be common and the other baby would be reabsorbed in me. The other is perfect. But since then I have some brownish/blackish discharge that is still there . It isn't a huge amount but it will stain my underwear slightly or come out on a tampon. I am so worried about losing the other baby. What is this??

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm not sure about tge discharge but I dont think you're supposed to wear tampons. Did you call the dr?

I am glad u told me that... I wasn't sure if we were supposed to or not. I go to the doctor Friday and I think I will email him. So nervous and paranoid now

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost one of my triplets and I had some brown discharge afterwards. You're definitely not supposed to use tampons. I would email your doc just to let him know.

As the PPs mentioned - DO NOT WEAR TAMPONS! You might have vanishing twin syndrome, where it seems like you miscarry, but a baby is still there. My mom had that with me, but back then they didn't do a sono until you were in your second trimester, so she knew she was pregnant, but never saw with how many. She started bleeding, went to the hospital, and was told her it seems like she most likely miscarried a twin. Regardless, call your doctor and voice your concerns.

I lost my babies (was pregnant with 3) but I had CLOTS and CLOTS and GUSHES!!!! It was not just spotting and I KNEW there was something going on.
