BTDT: Hospital Take-aways
My SIL told me not to register for certain things: NB diapers, nasal aspirator, burp cloths, pacifiers -- as these things will all be given to you by the hospital (since they can't reuse them once used/opened).
What other items will they likely let us take home that I don't need to register for?
TIA!!

They gave me:
vaseline diapers formula pads (for me) disposable undies (for me) a few binkies
I think that's it?
IMO, you should still register for burp cloths. The ones from the hospital are disposable ones. They'll get you through the first few weeks.

Re: BTDT: Hospital Take-aways
I would register for all of them. I got one pacifier with DS and they reuse burp cloths. We did get a comb and A few diaper ( lasted a day or two).

Re: BTDT: Hospital Take-aways
With DD I registered for a kit that had the aspirator, nail clippers, etc. in it. I did take the one from the hospital and will say that was the BEST one.
As for diapers, burp cloths, etc. I did take some from the hospital...but you really can't have too many....
And pacifiers - well, I registered for a few...as it turns out, DD didn't like ANY of them, but I knew a lot of people who's DC preferred avent or something over the soothies from the hospital....so i think it's always best to have a few on hand at home.

Re: BTDT: Hospital Take-aways
No pacifiers ( they said they don't give them out). I got some NB formula, NB diapers, couple onesies and some of those big huge pads for the delivery bleeding. I plan on taking everything i can get this time around....LOL since my insurance will be getting billed for it anyway...
