for those who have waxed...
did you get a brazilian or regular bikini wax? i've only gotten brazilians pre-preg but im thinking i dont really need one this time around and could get away with just a regular bikini wax.
and did it hurt a lot more than pre-preg?

Re: for those who have waxed...
I went last week.. and I was a hairy beast.. no pain, no issues. If you have done braziliians pre pregnancy, you can do it now

Re: for those who have waxed...
I have only done a brazilian once and now always do a regular bikini wax. I did find that it hurt a bit more the last time I had it done but I do feel more tender than usual in that area.

Re: for those who have waxed...
I did Brazilian before and have done it throughout pregnancy. I dont think it hurts more than it did before. I go to Bliss where they use the blue wax stuff which I think is supposed to be less painful (and better for sensitive skin).

Re: for those who have waxed...
I just went to get waxed for the first time in years and what a difference! So much easier!
The place I went to used the wooden stick and applied it with warm wax. SO much better than last time. The old place used this roller thing that hurt rolling on and then hurt again when they pulled the paper off. She opted not to do the brazilian this time because she said my skin was getting REALLY red and next time it will be better. I was happy to get off the table so I agreed but am kicking myself now. She was so close to finishing, I should have just grinned and bared it.

Re: for those who have waxed...
ok - holy hell it hurt a ton more than it used to. HOWEVER, I have been just shaving it for the past 6+ months and i really think that's why it hurt so much. I used to exclusively wax for YEARS.
I also had the "hard" wax (that they don't use the cloth strips for) - I cannot even imagine how awful it would have been if I had the cloth strips.
I'm sure it will hurt less next time.
I went to Red Door in garden city. They have a 10$ off 50+$ coupon right now - i got it in my email this morning. I got the bikini plus, which was really not that much different than a brazilian.

I too go to Bliss and highly recommend going there. I tried someplace else one time and it hurt so much more than it does at Bliss and I vowed never to cheat on my waxer girl again.

Re: for those who have waxed...
I get waxes regularly.. and I have to say that ever since i got pregnant, they hurt a little more each time. I am extremely sensitive down there these days. I have an appt for tomorrow...and I am skurred.
Oh and I also go to Bliss spa.. and before it never used to hurt at all..but now it does lol
