Re: At how many weeks along did you set up baby gear?

I'm 35.5 weeks and because of our limited space in our apt., the boxes were driving me INSANE.

This wknd I set up the bouncer, stroller, and snugrider frame. The infant car seat & extra base will be removed from their boxes tonight and I'm getting DH to set up the swing.

I also want our cat to get used to seeing these things in the apt and know he's NOT allowed to jump on them.

Line the bassinet with aluminum foil...if the cat jumps in, he/she will jump right back out because they hate the sound/feel of it.

We did this with our cat before DD was born, and the cat didn't jump in the crib anymore after that...
