10 Min. massage???
At the nail salon getting a pedi and I am dying to get a 10 min.chair massage??? Can I do this?? Is it safe?? I am 16 weeks!

Go right ahead. There's nothing wrong with a chair massage, most of them are pretty mild.
At this point you can even get a full body pre-natal massage since you are not out of the first trimester.

Just make sure the person is certified in doing prenatal massage.
FYI.... most times, those people ARE NOT massage therapists.

FYI.... most times, those people ARE NOT massage therapists. Right, my friend is a massage therapist and she said the same thing about the salons - they are not licensed to touch you. I would go to a licensed massage therapist for a prenatal massage.

It was just a shoulder / neck rub. I'm not too concerned that they're not licensed. Before I'd go lie on a massage table and have my whole body massaged, I'd make sure that the person was licensed. But for a neck rub after a pedicure? In the 2nd tri? I'm not going to worry. My husband does the same for me every once in a while too and he's not licensed.
