Graco Snugglider????INGENIUS???
So this is a frame for the Graco infant car seat that swings, vibrates, and plays music.
I saw it online and feel like it is genius! I mean we will be carrying the infant car seat into the house everyday ANYWAY so why not click into the frame and have it serve as carseat, swing and vibrating seat--VOILA!
To me it would take up less room in our living room then a seperate swing and bouncy seat.
BUT why have I seen no one mention it here?
So if you have it or have heard of it tell me what you think

IDK, I didn't read the review, but I don't think it sounds so great. I mean imagine if YOU were in the same.exact.seat all day long. Not only that, but their little heads aren't finished "forming" yet and it's not difficult for them to get flat-head, dents, etc. That can be a real problem down the line. A lot of that has to do with remaining in the same position all the time.
as a BTDT, let me ETA: ~I even feel bad when we go out to eat and use the restaurant's high chair upside down and put his carrier in there...I feel like he's kinda just stuck in the same place after the car ride. ~Also, when your DC gets fussy at home, you'll be making the circuit of all things that can soothe him/her: carrying, playmat, carseat, swing, bouncy. What do you do in this case? Flip a switch?

You are not alone with your feelings on this!!! I too feel like it is such a great invention! I haven't used it yet because I am still waiting on LO but did get it for my shower and was most excited for it! I plan to use it more when we travel to others' homes etc. I did get a stationary swing for home just because I do not want LO to feel stuck in the car seat all the time. However, it is perfect if you are limited in space to use it as an "all in one"! I think many people just do not know about it...friends of mine that have babies said they had never heard of it until they saw it on my registry!

Good points! I think maybe I will add either a vibrating/bouncy seat or swing in addition to this?? I like the idea of using it to travel ...WDYT?

I have it and it isn't so great. I also thought it was the most ingenious thing ever, but DD wasn't into it at all. The vibrating part was very loud and the swinging motion wasn't the same as her swing. However, she wasn't a real big swing kid... so maybe your baby will be. It isn't that expensive, I wasn't angry that she wasn't into it.

Re: Graco Snugglider????INGENIUS???
My daughter LOVED her swing and her bouncy seat, but I think it was the variety she loved. The bouncy seat was open and she used it until she was 13mon old and was climbing in and out of it. Her swing was awesome for "down" time. I think the idea is great for traveling, but for us it would have been a flop. Like I said she loved them becasue they were different, plus like a pp said I can't imagine her being in the same seat. Plus the swing and bouncer aren't as closed in as a car seat can be.

It wasn't great...It made a lot of noise when it was moving. It ate batteries. It didn't vibrate very well. I ended up returning it... You can get a portable swing that is better...

we received it and returned it. it's not a very powerful swing and the batteries died in 1 day.

Re: Graco Snugglider????INGENIUS???
I honestly feel guilty when I have DD in her car seat for more than an hour or two. I love the snug ride and the snap and go is fabulous, but when we're out for a long time and she's in it the whole time, I feel like there's no way she can be comfortable. Sometimes she get sweaty under it, and if you feel it's really hard in the back (which I'm afraid could lead to a flat spot if she had a tendency to lean in one direction only). When I bring DD to the gym, they watch her in the childcare in her car seat most of the time. She stays in it when I go shopping and I put her in the cart right now since she's too small to sit in it otherwise herself.
I like having a separate bouncy seat and swing that I can put her in as alternatives to her car seat and the FP rock n play sleeper (which is still her bed).
Just something to think about.

Re: Graco Snugglider????INGENIUS???
We bought it for DS #1. It was terrible, I wish I had read the reviews. It was loud and clunky. Because of it, DS hated any type of swing until he was much older. He loved his bouncy seat on the other hand.
