Really bad scare

Yesterday afternoon I went potty and when I wiped there was bright red blood on the tp and in the toilet. I called the docs and they sent me to the ER. They were FANTASTIC! In 2hrs I had a pelvic, pain meds, blood drawn, and an u/s. I was a sobbing mess and was convinced we had lost barley. I am 9w1d now. The u/s showed a very healthy active baby that had a hb of 168Chat Icon My tech was fantastic and let me hear the hb. It looks like I have a subchorronic(?) hem and need to take it easy for the weekend. It's not bad, and I have no more blood coming out. I'm very relieved by this, but I don't know much about this either. DO you guys have any experience?

Re: Really bad scare

I just read a lot on it I did a google search) becaue that's what pennycat had Chat Icon BUT only 1% of the cases end like hers, so I wouldn't worry. most everything I read says its unusual for it to a risk, and its quite normal to have this. I want to say the odds were about 40% of all pregnancies?

I read what happened ot her and BURST into tears when they told me what it was. They had to get the u's pics to show me how minor it was. My heart is just broken for her and it made me even more scared when I saw the blood. Thank you for the info. It's so hard to google this myself because I only see the worst.

How scary! I had bleeding at 17 weeks and it was the most horrible day. They told me it was due to a UTI and I was on pelvic rest for 2 and a half weeks. Glad everything is okay!
