Aruba

We went for our honeymoon and loved it. We did a sunset cruise, a private dinner on the beach, a jeep tour, rented a jeep ourselves and went to arikok national park, got a couples massage, went kayaking, and went to the shopping areas.

We are going back for our one year anniversary and are looking to try some new things. Any suggestions, especially cheaper suggestions for different things to see or do there?

Also, did anyone eat at the brazilian steakhouse, is it good?

Re: Aruba

Frist time DH and I went we tried to do a lot. Well, it was my first time. His fam has a timeshare so he's been going for a few years.

Now when we go back every year we pretty much relax. Not a ton to do in Aruba, but sit on the beach and enjoy.

Soo many good restaurants, nice shopping, etc.

We went snorkeling at Baby Beach and then just north of the high rise area when we went (we have our own snorkel gear) which was great.

We really enjoyed Gasparito - it's a small restaurant in an art museum and it's fairly reasonably priced. We also enjoyed El Gaucho, Madame Janettes, the restaurants at the Hyatt, and the Sunset Grill at the Radison (although we did think it was better the first time we went).

Re: Aruba

We did an ATV tour in Aruba and it was awesome!! DH really wanted to do it and I was skeptical but agreed. I am so glad we did bc it was so fun! I definitely recommend it!

The company we used was ATV Mania. You each either get your own ATV or you can ride on the back of DH's....I recommend getting your own! You basically ride throughout the whole island and stop at a few cool sites. Towards the end, you go up this small mountain and there are incredible views at the top. We had a blast!! (Bring knock around clothes if you do it bc you will get a little dirty)

Dh and I just returned from Aruba on Monday and loved it as well! We are certified divers so diving was on the list and was awesome! We snorkeled around the hotel and saw a ton of fish and even squid! There is not much else to do...sounds like you did most of it Chat Icon Definately a great place just to RELAX!!
