rings! PSA

i know you all probably know this, but i just went through a mildly horrifying experience and wanted to share. i am 30 w on monday and have been experiencing ugly foot and ankle swelling. i noticed my rings were getting tight and kept meaning to take them off but never did. well this morning as soon as i woke up two hours ago, i knew my hands were in trouble. insanely swollen and my rings would not budge. ive been trying for the past two hours to get them off...soaking in ice water, drehcning them in windex, pulling and twisting and nothing. so of course, i start to panic, having visions of having to cut off my beautiful engagement and wedding rings. i did some google searches and tried holding my hand above my head while wrapped in ice for 10 minutes. then i sprayed lots of windex on my finger and began twisting my rings. oh my god it hurt like hell and my finger was all blue and purple but they finally came off after a few minutes of painful twisting. my finger is now even more swollen and warped looking.

so yeah, moral of the story is dont sleep with your rings on if you already suspect theyre getting tight.

i have really bad feet and ankle swelling but my hands have been kinda good. some days they are slightly swollen, but it always goes away...same with my feet. its usually worse at night...

maybe you should just stop playing with them now and wait for them to go down a bit and try again.

im nervous too about my rings getting stuck..i will prob take them off soon just to be on the safe side.

I am 18 months PP and my rings still don't fit... I had to take them off by month 5 of my pregnancy...
