What idiots say to women carrying twins
Seriously, I usually don't get too many dumb comments, just more excitement and the common, oh you will have your hands full.
Well I ran one errand, and the lady at the counter said, when is the little one due, and I said oh, the little two actually. She congratulated me, then said, Lets hope they are identical.
WHAT!  Who says that! What if they are fraternal . . . .Lets hope . . .come on! She was young, but that was a seriously dumb comment. Then I said well the Dr.s are saying they are identical, and she said, how would they know. I'm like well I don't want to gross you out, but they share a placenta. I mean, she just kept going on and on, and she was a young girl and there were people behind me. I was embarrassed and honestly shouldn't have been running errands in the first place.
Then as I was leaving I beeped and had to stay another 5 min. getting the sensor removed.
Anyway, some people should just say Congrats if they HAVE to say anything at all.
