Which prenatal vitamins?
I am not going to the doctor until May 10th and wanted to start taking prenatal vitamins before I get the 'script from my doctor. There are so many choices I don't know where to begin...
Do I get a prenatal vitamin or prenatal complex? Are they the exact same thing with different names?
Also, do I want the ones with omega-3 added or ginger?

I think the most important thing is to get ones with DHA. Before I got my prescription I was taking gummy ones that I got at Target. The doctor said they were fine and I could finish was I had bought before filling my prescription.

ITA Anything with DHA is fine. I think I took Centrum Prenantal from CVS early on! Congrats!

I'm taking OTC ones that have DHA. When I was pg with DS, I had to take DHA separate, I was thrilled to see they have them now with that all up in there!

And you should make sure there is 1 mg of Folic Acid.

While I was TTC and before I got a script I was taking The Vitamin Shoppe prenatal with DHA.
