Babymoon....

So we are trying to plan our "babymoon" aka we have plane vouchers we need to use :)

Originally we were thinking Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) til we realized United doesn't fly from Pittsburgh for anywhere less than 1,000 per person ($$$$!!!).

We are now thinking of maybe going to Mexico (Cancun/Riviera Maya)....

My question is (and I will call my Dr and ask them)....Did your Dr. say Mexico was out because of the water?I feel the resorts we would go to all have filtered water (we have been to Mexico before) and were fine but was curious of everyones opinion on here....

Our other option is Destin florida but that doesnt excite me as much as international :)

DH and I have been to Mexico twice. I was never preg. when going but also never got sick or had any stomach issues. I know the resorts we visited def. had filtered water throughout. But they also gave you bottled water in your room and you should be able to ask for bottled at restaurants and such.

I think you would be fine in Mexico. Check with the resort ahead of time to see if they filter their water (almost all do I think) and just drink bottled water while there.

I leave on Friday to Mexico - Doctor ok'd - I am going to ask for bottled water just to be on the safe side.

my friend went to mexico when she was pg w/ baby#1, now she is on baby #2 and they are going back to mexico!

You should have no worries!
