When you got your BFP - did you keep testing??
I got my BFP 2 weekends ago, and since then I just keep randomly testing....something about the line getting as dark as the control line gives me peace of mind. Did anyone else do this, or am I just crazy?

no but my dr did blood tests every few days so I was reassured by that. I probably would have if they weren't checking my numbers

I certainly did it in the beginning. At 37w it's been awhile since I've done it though.  I think I POAS about 7 times over the course of the first two weeks. Just couldn't help myself!

I was testing once a week! I have two tests left and my appointment is next Wednesday. I'm trying to disperse them evenly, lol

i tested first at 12dpo with fMU, then the afternoon and then again 13dpo. I only did that bc I still had tests left.

I did this too, up until we went to the dr at 7w. I was so scared we would get to dr and nothing would be there! NOT crazy at all.

I tested the day before my first sono and the test line got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DARK that the control line was faint in comparison!!!

Oh most definitely. Yes, kept watching the line get darker. I was testing later with this one than with DS, so I didn't do it as long as I did with DS. I did like 4 or 5 with this one, I did over 10 with DS

i tested twice the night i got my BFP and then once the next morning. then i tested again a week later the morning i was going for my blood test lol.

Except for the time we were away visiting family I tested 1-2x a day until we saw a hb at 7w. I had internet cheapies lingering in the bathroom and couldn't resist! We are both crazy

I didn't have my first ob appointment until I was almost 9 weeks and I tested at LEAST 10 times after the first bfp

No, i got a bfp using digital test and then the next day went for a beta, and another 2 days after that. Since i was seeing an RE, i was in the office every week doing sono's until 8 weeks, so had constant updates.
The digital 'pregnant' wasn't going to get any darker

Same here. If I weren't getting betas done every few days and sonos starting at 5 weeks, I would have been testing all the time as well.

no BUT only b/c we dont have any left in the house. I have had to force myself not to go down the aisles w/tests at my drug store and supermarket. I wouldnt be surprised if I cave and test 1 or 2 more times in the next week or so.

Nope--my OB told me once you get pregnant, the hormone stays in your body for quite some time--so any positive pregnancy test after the first one pretty much means nothing...

when i got my bfp it was in the afternoon at work - then when i got home that was it
i was 14dpo though so as soon as i peed on it, it came up dark and it came up right away

yeah i took 2 more tests in between when i first got my BFP and my first drs apt.
mainly beccause i had no symptoms, and becausse i had a chemical before this pregnancy so i was super nervous.
