Question about mucous plug?
So this is going to be too much TMI and I apologize ahead of time!!!
Those who lost their mucous plug- What did it look like? I found a huge clump on Tuesday and since then the discharge has definitely been on the increase. I found another tiny piece of discharge this morning and every time I use the bathroom it seems like it's dripping out of me. It's not bloody though and not brown tinged. Could this still be it? I'm so confused. I think I may be losing it gradually in pieces.

That sounds like it! I lost mine in pieces. They looked like clumps of snot. At first they weren't blood-tinged. That only happened a few hours before I gave birth.

sounds like it. Mine was bloody but I also lost mine the night I went into labor.

mine started out looking like snot and then like the jelly in a jar of gefilte fish.
when i started to get a tinge of pink/brown, my OB told me to go to the hospital.

Mine cae out in two huge pieces with DD1 and it looked like a slug... LOL... sorry but thats what it was!

Mine started out very small, small pieces like you're saying. Then I started having contractions a few hours later. Once the contractions started, the mucous plug started to come out much bigger/more messy. Good Luck! I hope this means the baby is coming!
