What week were you, and how did you find out...be it electively outside of your ob office, an amnio, anatomy scan...whatever it may be...

with my first, we found out during the anatomy scan at 19w, 3d

with this baby, my appt fell so that I will almost be 21 weeks. I am curious because it seems that we can find out earlier, and earlier...and if I can...I would like to...lol!!

Those that found out before the typical 19-20 weeks...how did you find out earlier?

With DD i was 18 weeks and with this one i was 19weeks 6 days

DD more like 28 weeks, she hid from the sono TWICE! It killed me

we had a regular appt. where they had to get blood for some test. my doc does sonos at every visit and that day lil boy was not shy about showing the goods!

My doc doesn't do sonos at the 16w appointment, so we found out at 20w.

20 weeks at my level 2 also, it's a , my Dr. also doesn't do a 16 week sono

I had a sono at 16wk2d. Baby was wide open!

With DS I was 18.5 weeks.

With this one...I will find out when I delivery on Tuesday

I found out at 17 weeks only because I was hospitalized with kidney stones. When I went for a kidney sono the tech was AWESOME and so excited to check out the baby and tell me or

If I had not found out then I would have found out at my 20 week sono at the Dr.


Both 17 and 20 weeks said we are team

With DS, they told me at like 11 weeks, they were 75% a boy, I went for sonos at 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 weeks and they confirmed at everyone. I had a subchorionic hematoma that needed to be monitored, so we were able to get sonos like every two weeks.

They said at 16 weeks for this pregnancy during my quad screen. We'll confirm next week at my Level 2

20 with first, 16 with 2nd.

confirmed at 16w1d (during 16w anatomy scan). Also guessed correctly at 11w and 12w (NT) by two different techs but I don't count those as "finding out the sex"

I found out at 18 weeks. I was going in for a cervical sono and the tech took measurements of the baby whole she was there. I asked her if she could take a peek and sure enough there it was!

My dr only did 12 wk and then 20 wk sonos which is I think why a lot of girls get "stuck" waiting so long when you can really tell by 16wks. So, me having ZERO patience as usual made a trip to get a 3d sono at impact medical. It was cheap- like $75 or something. SOOO worth it plus of course I got pics

When I went for my ultrascreen they found out I was measuring about a week ahead. So I was supposed to be 13.5 weeks and was measuring 14.5 weeks. So she said she was almost positive it was a boy, and it was confirmed at my 20 week Level 2.

my first 2 were at the level II at 20 weeks.

#3 we found out at 12 with the CVS
