When was your first appt?
I have mine on May 9th, which is about 6 weeks 4 days. I have a new OB this time, with DS, I didnt have an appt until 8 weeks.
Is 6 weeks too early, or the norm?

I see an RE and 6wks is the norm there. Good luck!! Be happy you get to get in sooner! You should be able to see a heartbeat.

Mine is May 6th, will be 8w1 day God's willing. The doctor's office suggested going in May 13th but I couldnt wiat that long. Ive heard alot of 6 week 1st Appointments, I think that's normal!

I got my BFP on 4/10.
I contacted the new Dr I wanted to switch to on 4/11
My 1st appt w/them is 4/27. If my dates are correct than I should be 4 wks 3 days. I am also due for my annual so I'm sure thats why they scheduled me so early. I am assuming all they will do is take a blood test.

I contacted the new Dr I wanted to switch to on 4/11
My 1st appt w/them is 4/27. If my dates are correct than I should be 4 wks 3 days. I am also due for my annual so I'm sure thats why they scheduled me so early. I am assuming all they will do is take a blood test.
if you got a BFP on 4/10 you would be about 6w on 4/27. you are already counted as being 4w around the time of your BFP.
to the OP - i had my first appt at 6w1d and i was able to see a heartbeat right away. you should be able to see one that early but if you dont its no reason to panic, you might just have the dates off by a few days and that early it makes a big difference. good luck!

I kept an appointment I already had scheduled (it was for Provera at cd78 but I got a BFP on cd56 so they switched it to an OB appt instead!)
According to my dating/viability sono I was 7w0d for that appt and we saw and heard a hb

she right, they start counting your pregnancy weeks from the first day of your last period.

I went at 6 weeks 1 day and even though my doctor's sono machine was old - we were able to see a sac on the screen :)
