Yay or Nay on this dress? *PIC*
What do you ladies think about this dress for church on Easter? IF I wear it to church I have to wear a cardigan or shawl of some sort... can you help me with that?? What color?
If not for Easter, Im thinking to keep it for a wedding in September. Also for fancy night on a cruise in August.
If yay, to which event, if any, what do you ladies think for shoes too?
Im on the fence but my DH loved it on me so thats why Im confused!!

Yay for cruise, but it feels dark for Easter. I would only wear it to Easter if you could wear a colorful cardigan and accessories to brighten it up.

I think for the cruise and wedding it is perfect. For Easter, to me it's a bit too dark. Like PP's mentioned if you wear a bright cardigan I think it will work.

IMPO, its too dressy for Easter but in my family we don't get dressed up.
I think it is fab for a wedding & cruise so I say YAY to for those two events. Its a staple dress and can be used over and over.

Too dressy for easter, it's very formal. I like it for a wedding or cruise though!
For Easter mass i would wear a more simple dress and cardigan..it's pretty though!

It looks like a cocktail dress to me, so I say nay for Easter and yay for a wedding or cruise dinner.

I like it, but it seems to dressy for Easter, unless you church is very formal.
If it is, I'd wear a pastel or bright cardigan with it. I'd probably wear black shoes with it for church.
For the cruise or a wedding, if you aren't wearing the cardigan, you can wear any color shoe--maybe a metallic?

it's not something I would wear for Easter (we have easter in FL- brunch/beach)
but perfect for the other occassions

Thanks for all the help ladies. Easter at our church is suits for men, dresses for ladies... but your right i think this is TOO fancy.
I think I'll keep it for the wedding/cruise though! THANK YOU!!

I agree with PP not for Easter, but yay for the cruise and wedding!
I will add that if Easter service is dressy where you go then you could do it, but I would wear a cream cardigan and bright pink shoes and accessories
