DDs with curly hair
what hair products do you use/ recommend??
DD has thick curly hair and I can't seem to find a good (one that smells good), conditioning shampoo and conditioner....
I have used J&J thick & curly shampoo as well as Suave Kids conditioners..
any other (better) products I can use for he? She is almost 2.5...
TIA!!

Re: DDs with curly hair
I did a coconut oil treatment on my DD's hair and it's helped tamed her hair craziness so much because of it..
conditioner is KEY.. regardless of the brand.. just tons of it

Re: DDs with curly hair
IU have the same thing with my DD. She has SUPER curly hair ( like mommy) and what makes it tough is she doesnt have alot. She was bald a birth and it is taking a LONG time for her hair to gain "length" to it.
I dont know what to do with it either!!!

Re: DDs with curly hair
I use a moisterizing shampoo and conditioner (don't use 1 brand exclusively)- and when she's in the bath/shower, once the conditioner is in her hair, I use a wide toothed comb on her. That works really well.
If I need to comb her hair any other time, I wet it down, and then spray it with Circle of Friend detangler (its the only detangler that I've tried on her that I really like!) and then also use a wide toothed comb.
Here is the link to the Circle of Friends website. I can only find it at Ulta.

This is essentially what I do and I leave a leave in conditioner in her hair as well

Re: DDs with curly hair
also, it's NOT necessary to shampoo every time you wash their hair (unless they are at the beach or were sweating).. too much shampooing will dry their hair out making it more frizzy..
