Changing OB's half-way through pg??
This is DC #3 for me, and I decided to try a new doc that was closer to home. I just don't love it and I want to go back to my old doc that delivered DD and DS. I just had my 12 week sono at the new doc. Do I just start making my future appointments at the old doc to go back? Does insurance have a problem with it?

I switched docs at 12 weeks and am so glad I did. I personally didn't think it was a big deal at all to switch. GL!

Re: Changing OB's half-way through pg??
I switched practices at 11w. I got a copy of my old medical records from my original OB and moved forward with my new OB. I'm not sure what went on behind the scenes but everything was fine with my insurance. I never said anything to the old OB - I just never rescheduled the appt they canceled and never called back and they never called me to follow-up.

I switched practices at 26 weeks. I didn't need to notify insurance although I called to confirm first. I just stopped making my appointments with the current OB and started making them at the new OB.

I switched at 28 weeks. Got copies of my records and that was it. No problems at all.
