a few silly questions
I am 35 weeks when should I start sterilizing pacis and bottles?
The sheet savers are they supposed to be by the baby’s butt or head?
Stuff that is not going to be in direct contact with the baby such as the waterproof mattress protector, should I wash that?
Thanks.

Re: a few silly questions
I waited to sterlize til dd came home. She was drinking the ready to feed formula bottles for the first 2 weeks, so I only had to attach a nipple. Also, dont sterilize just yet - you may find you or DD prefer a different bottles/nipples, or a brand that works better for you. This happened to us, and thankfully I hadnt opened the bottles I got for my shower, and was able to exchange them all for others.
Put the sheet saver by her head, where she will spit up
I didnt wash: crib bumpers/dust ruffle, rock n play, etc.

Re: a few silly questions
didnt sterilize until the baby came home. It only took a few minutes to sterilize the bottles and dry off and in the meantime I used stuff the hospital gave me. Never used a sheet saver so not sure on that. and yes I did wash the mattress pad. might be overkill but I felt better doing it.

Thanks ladies -
you just reminded me that i had a formula question. I plan to use powder and have some RTF bottles and would assume i will get some from the hospital for those who used rtf in the very beginning did you have a problem transitioning to powder?

Yea, we got a ton of RTF bottles and nipples from both the hospital and our pediatrician. DD didnt have a problem going from can to powder. She is a good eater, she would gulp anything I give her. I dont think she noticed a difference at all.
