I went into labor on my due date, April 9th. I had a doctor's appointment mat 10:30 that morning for an NST and sono and when they put me on the monitor, they told me I was having contractions. I had no idea!! I just felt a little cramping, but thought nothing of it. They sent me to the hospital for monitoring and was at 1 cm with steady, but mild contractions. The hospital sent me home and told me to relax, take a walk, etc. Things progressed throughout the day and we were back at the hospital by 8:00 pm. Everything went smoothly and I held out until I was 8 cm and then got an epidural.
Labor and delivery went so much better than I ever expected! It was the most amazing experience...DH and I couldn't be happier! Image Attachment(s):
