If you know about your shower...
Are you getting there early like before the guests or are you still coming a little later like you would have for a surprise? Up until 2 days ago, mine was a surprise but now that I know I am confused!! My Mom wants me there early so I can sit (modified bed rest) and people can come and greet me...just seems odd to be sitting there, waiting to be greeted!

I was on complete bedrest and just showed up 15 minutes after it started to greet everyone.  There was no way I was missing my shower!

My sister and mom are hosting but I know all about it. I will most likely arrive a little bit later, maybe 20 minutes and let the ball get rolling first.

I will probably be going early. it's at one of DH's sister's houses and he is going to be the BBQ man... so he has to be there early too.

LOL, my sister was like, we'll bring the shower to your house if we have too!! No way I'd miss it for anything!! Just hoping I'm still pregnant at the shower...

i was just talking to my mom about this, i didnt knwo what to do. i thought i might feel weird if i was standing there greeting guests. but i know about it and if i show up all dressed up then thats kinda weird too? i dont know what to do

I know about mine, but we're finding out the gender of the baby when we walk in, so there is still a surprise element. We wrote 12:45 - 5 on our invitation, in hope that most people will get there between 12:45 and 1 - and I can get there at 1.

i know about mine, but i prob will still come after everyone is there...the plan was for it to be a surprise, but my mom wanted to make sure i could get the day off work so she told me.

As of right now, I am hosting my own shower. I am hoping I can have it at a restaurant. I plan on being there early to set up and greet everyone when they get there.

I knew about my bridal shower and went in 15 mins late. I know about my baby shower and plan on getting there early. Everyone kind of figured out that I knew about it and I am sure the same will happen this time so I'd rather just be there.
