not to sound ungrateful

I am so happy people care about me and baby and are excited about meeting him, but everyone and their mother is calling/texting me to see whats up like every day and I keep telling people I will keep them posted...

I will most likely be induced wed or thursday and its going soooo slow. I dont want to sound ungrateful I just wish people would not keep bringing up that im not in labor yet like I can think about anything else otherwise

Oh hun I know exactly how you feel. I went thru the exact same thing before the baby came. I was only 4 days late but the calls started before my due date was even here. It got to the point where I stopped answering my phone bc I was tired of hearing people tell me how they couldnt wait for me to go into labor..."they couldnt wait"??? what about me?

Sometimes I wish I had that. Some friends and family I never hear from. They never ask me how I am or how I'm feeling. And now towards the end it's like they forgot I'm pregnant. It's hurtful. And the worst part is that it's coming from people I'm close to and have been close with for years. Its almost like they don't care and don't share that joy with me. I've learned who my true friends are unfortunately. I had one good friend (and I mean good; she was in my bridal party) never respond or show up to my shower. Ive written her out of my life completely at this point.

So while I realize how annoying it must be to hear the same things and have people check in on you constantly, Its also nice that you get that support and encouragement.

The grass isn't always greener.
