Stroller Netting?

Everyone I know has stroller (and sometimes infant seat) netting on their registry. Is it a necessity? I didn't think it was necessary since we drive everywhere, but should I be registered for it?

I used it when we were out for walks when DD was weeks old.

I used it all the time over the hotter months when we would go on long walks

I used the netting during the summer when DD was an infant while we were on walks, it gets buggy out there in the summer!

Yes, yes! Found a spider the soze of my palm climbing on it once. Would have been on my son if it weren't for the netting. Bugs will get in!

I did. If your at the park or go for a walk where there may be gnats or other bugs. We have a family reunion every year at Eisenhower park. I know ill be using it then. Im also always loving walking in the parks in our town. Since they are on the water sometimes it a little gnatty. So ill def be using it. I got all three. Stroller, Car seat & pack & play. For those late nights in the summer with friends in the yard on the deck. etc.

i used it when we were out at parties in the summer and DS fell asleep in his stroller.

i used the pack n play netting A LOT - we spend a lot of weekends outside in the summer and DS often fell asleep in the PnP (in the shade of course). I always put the net on to keep bugs/leaves off of him.

eta: We used both nets his 1st summer AND 2nd summer.
