Team Green Ladies... of baby #2
Team Green Ladies who are expecting #2....
What are you doing about clothes for the little one - specifically if you have the other gender????
Obviously if I have another girl I am set right off the bat - but if we have a boy ???
I am wondering if I should be buying a few boy things, hang on to the receipt and only wash when I come home if we need them...
what are you doing????

Re: Team Green Ladies... of baby #2
I was recently Team for #3 and the first two were both girls, so the same situation.
Honestly, I did nothing. I pulled out all the neutral clothing from the girls, I bought new onesies and a couple of more new neutral outfits and that was it.
We did indeed have a boy.
We got TONNNNSSSS of boy stuff. Tons. I packed away so many outfits with tags already and the kid isn't even 6 months old yet. People LOVE shopping for babies and everyone's aware that you have no boy things. I think you'll be fine!

Re: Team Green Ladies... of baby #2
We're staying for #2 and I figure I'd pull out what I could from DS's old stuff and go from there. We won't be really going anywhere right away so I figured if we have a girl no one will really notice if we have her in some boy stuff for a few days!
I was also thinking that if people want to send a little gift for this one it'll probably be clothes so I'm hoping that'll help a little too -- after that I'm going to do some shopping and fill in where we need it.

Re: Team Green Ladies... of baby #2
I recently had DD and was team I already have a DS and didn' t find out with him either. I just went through his newborn bin and took out all of the gender neutral stuff I had. Aside from that, we were lucky enough to get lots of clothes from friends/family who visited in the hospital.

Re: Team Green Ladies... of baby #2
I am planning on buying a couple outfits and just holding onto the receipt. I was team for 1st one so I will probably use some of those clothes for awhile. I got a ton of unisex clothes at my shower.
I assume though that my mother will go crazy shopping for a bc it will be her first granddaughter out of her 5 grandsons. Also between my friends, DH's friends, and her friends this baby will be loaded with clothes.

This is what we are doing. We aren't buying anything now. If we have a DD then I am sure we will get stuff and if we don't I will probably give my mom money to go and pick some stuff up for us.
