WOW!!!!....How insensitive!

I received a call from my MFM office on Friday afternoon while I was in the NICU. When I called them back the office was closed. Naturally I just assumed they were calling to see how everything was. I called them just now and to my surprise...they were looking for $$$!!! I am so completely outraged! I understand that they are a business and want their $$ but honestly! I just gave birth to a set of premature twins at 32w6d and no one ever made a follow up call but they made a call looking for $$. I am sorry but my babies in the NICU take precedence over dropping off ins. checks to your office which by the way is over an hour away from me!! I just feel very badly about all of this. I feel as though because my babies were born early they are not considered enough of a success story for the Dr and he has not even acknowledged their birth. He is a friend on FB and when my girlfriend had her baby and we posted pics he commented, I have posted a million pics of my babies and he has not said one word! I'm sure this may seem petty and insignificant to some but my raging hormones are making this very hard on me! Thanks for listening
