Jersey Shore Cast Gets a Six-Figure Pay Day
As if going to Italy to drink and party isn't enough, the cast of Jersey Shore has gotten a six-figure raise, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Snooki & Co. will each earn at least $100,000 for the Italy-bound fourth season of the show. To put things in perspective, their Season 2 contract negotiations reeled them $10,000 per episode.
Chris Linn, MTV executive vice president of programming and head of production, told TVGuide.com on Wednesday that the cast's Season 4 deals were done and that production is set to begin later this month or early May.
The raises cap a big week for the cast, as MTV ordered two spin-offs for Pauly D, and Snooki and JWoww.

Pathetic....
yet our teachers and other important figures in our society get paid nothing compared to these fools.
When are their 15 minutes going to be up and people stop watching so they can all go away.

I think its ridic that anyone gets paid that much to be filmed partying and being trashy....with that said, MTV is making a LARGE FORTUNE off of them, and they are cash cows, so if its their life MTV is raking in the dough on, they totally deserve a cut of it. I dont blame them, I would expect the same, I blame MTV.
And with THAT said, I love that show!

I agree. I stopped watching. trying to save the braincells I have left. I have daughters and last thing I need is for those girls to teach them how to be SLUTTY and that boys are as disgusting as the guys on the show.

These guys are making MTV so much money that it is worth it for them to pay that amount.
I think it is crazy too but I can't help being a little jealous too. I bust my butt working and they get to party for cash.

Not for nothing but what celebrity actually is deserving of their paychecks? I mean, is it really worth millions and millions of dollars to hit a ball a couple hundred feet and run around the bases? An actor shoots a movie for a couple months out of the entire year and they get millions too. That's just the world of fame for ya!

That's nothing! Mike "The Situation" make $5M alone last year on endorsements. I think they all are making big bucks doing that.

These people must've stepped in some lucky sh!t at some point in their lives....I used to love to go out and party too...why wasn't I paid??? Unbelievable! How about giving the money to the NY Public school systems to avoid the hundreds of layoffs, pay cuts and freezes and closing of our precious schools?
