I'm really excited about the Alaska Disney cruise! I've been wanting to go for a while and thought I'd have to put it on hold for many years. Maybe DH would be up for taking the trip if it's a Disney cruise so the boys would enjoy it.

They are crazy prices - but remember disney is a lot more than other lines to begin with. I was curious - 8 night magic bahamas in June 2012 11A inside wanted $4,800 for 4- 2 adults 2 kids 4 and 3.

The prices have increased since this morning. But keep in mind the fare does include a one day park hopper and transfers to WDW while in port. Not to mention you aren't paying airfare or for a hotel/meals the night before the cruise.
The trip I booked went up $400 in a matter of a few hours. I did the end of August though and the prices were lower than the beginning of the Summer.

I was so excited when I saw this on FB!
I agree with breaking everything down!
Maybe it will turn out to sort of even out.
We just flew to FL a few weeks ago.
Stayed 3 nights in Orlando (out side of the parks) and only did Islands of Adventure. We paid a good amount of $ for that part of the trip.
(We drove down to Boca from Orlando for the last 6 nights and stayed with family, so, we luck out in that area).

I don't think so because there isn't even an option to select or deselect it....it's just part of the cruise.
I also wanted to add, if you are debating, you should book now on their site before the price goes up. They will hold your cruise for 5 days for no charge. Then you have to pay the deposit.
