Suggestions for family vacation in July
Sooo, my nanny will be away for 2 weeks in July! We want to take a trip one of those weeks. I was thinking about PA-Sesame Place, Dutch Wonderland and maybe the Please Touch Museum in Philly. No idea how far away these are from each other, but we are not averse to driving..
Also open to other ideas. We live just outside Raleigh NC and would like to do something family friendly. the beach is also an option...any ideas?

we rented a cabin near natahala.
we love it out there.
great smokey mountain railroad
deep creek tubing
dh bikes.
last year we took kids on app trail.
3.5 hours from me.

Just mapquested DW is about 90 miles form SP. SP is only 30 miles from Please Touch and then we'd be in philly....

We went to the Please Touch museum last year and were there forever - we had a blast, you could literally spend all day there. Luca loooooved it, and he's the kind of kid that takes a long time to warm up to things. He was almost 2 when we went in August.
We stayed in Philly and also went to the zoo, which was very nice but HOT. I'd rather have gone to SP, but DD was too little for us to enjoy it. Your boys would love it though, especially on a nice warm day in July.
We also went to a Mets/Phillies game, the staium there is so so so nice, so if you're into baseball I'd look into that.

We are going to Hilton Head, SC this summer. It is supposed to be great for families.
