Re: Did You/Are You getting dressed fancy for your shower?
I bought a dress and I also bought black pants, a nice shirt and a shrug. I ended up wearing pants and I am so happy that I did.

I wore a stretchy fitted black dress from Motherhood, but before I found that dress I was going to wear leggings and flats! I think you should wear what makes you comfortable.

I think a few people saw my goods...lol and I had a major sweat attack while opening gifts... I wish I wore pants, but I wore a dress from destination maternity... around knee length i guess

I am not a dress person to begin with, so some sort of slacks and a nice blouse. I actually picked up 2 the other day that I thought "either one of these would be a good shower blouse!"

My shower will be in the summer so I am pretty sure I will wear a dress.

Re: Did You/Are You getting dressed fancy for your shower?
My shower was this past Sat. I wore a dress that ended just above knee...so not to short, and I didn't flash anyone while opening my gifts...I did however work up a really good sweat, and was glad that I had a dress on b/c It was easier to cool off when I was done.
Here is a pic of my dress from Motherhood maternity...it was super comfy and I got tons of compliments: Image Attachment(s):

Re: Did You/Are You getting dressed fancy for your shower?
My shower was on Saturday. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with and I wore this dress with heels. It was so comfortable and the dress is machine washable. I have a wedding early in May and I hope I can wear the dress again (if I'm not too big and my doctor allows me to go! )

Re: Did You/Are You getting dressed fancy for your shower?
My shower is on Saturday. I will be wearing black dress pants that I got from Destination Maternity and have been wearing to work for months. I got a nice new blouse to go with it that hugs my belly. I find that I look better in stuff that hugs my belly instead of something that flows, making me look bigger. I don't know what I will be wearing on my feet-that's my big dilemna since I have only worn my sneakers now for two months because my feet are swollen and none of my shoes fit. I don't want to wear my sneakers for the shower so I might end up in my nice J. Crew flip flops. A dress was never an option for me. I am not comfortable in dresses and don't find them flattering on me. I am having my shower at a nice restaurant in Cold Spring Harbor, but don't feel a need for a dress. I think you should wear what you are going to feel comfortable in all day.

IDK what to wear at all. I have time though.... so I probably won't start looking for an outfit until May...
