DH is taking away my measuring tape
So I am usually very handy with measuring things and was all sorts of proud of myself for helping out and taking some measurements and well turns out both times i was way off so no more measuring for me

That's totally understandable, it's hard to judge the size of things. Even if it measures correctly, sometimes the actually things just don't fit or look right. I am guilty of buying huge furniture that wont fit in the door so don't feel bad
