Is nausea a sign of labor?

I am 37w1d today and have been feeling sick with nausea all morning. I had no m/s this entire pregnancy. As of this past Wed the dr said I wasn't dilated but the baby was in position. On and off for the past few days I had very mild and inconsistent cramps (like dull period cramps) which I believe are probably from Braxton Hicks. Any thoughts on the nausea as this is something new today!?!?

I am 38+ weeks and I am feeling the same as you. No dilating, but baby is in position. I have been on and off crampy, probably from BH although I haven't had them at all throughout the pregnancy. I haven't lost my MP or anything. Having some on and off nausea.......let's hope it means something!!!

It may be. The night before my water broke, I was very nauseous, I didnt eat dinner and just went to bed. I just didnt feel right, kinda queasy and just off. My water broke at 5:30 am while sleeping.

It sounds like we both are experiencing the same exact thing....just a week a part. I wonder if this is it!

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and feel the same way. It is so bad that it wakes me up at night. Last night was rough.

im with you ladies, crampy all week like way worse then usual. Doc says im not dialted, but baby is head down and definitly desending down into the pelvis. Nasaua on and off.... anyone feeling intense pelvic pressure?

I wouldn't say intense, but I'm definitely having increased pelvic pressure.

I have periods of nausea also. I'm 37 weeks today!! I've had it for about a week (it comes and goes) so I'm not sure it means anything. I hope it does. I've also had cramping on and off.

Pelvic pressure- YES!!!!!!! It's so annoying and I have a lot of soreness in the ****** area as well. I hope the end is soon!!!

I think it can be actually. I know my BF was nauseas all day, threw up that evening and gave birth the next morning.

Yes, I've definitely heard that nausea can be a sign of labor coming within a few days, but I don't know how true that really is. I got some bad nausea around 36 weeks and was excited that maybe my baby girl was coming a bit early. I also nested pretty hardcore at 38 weeks and felt a lot of pressure and sharp pains in my cervix at 39 weeks. But even with all of those possible signs - I still had to be induced at 41 weeks. Sooo, yeah, I don't really think these are real "signs" (at least they weren't in my case) but you never know, I guess
