Is it normal
to wake up at 5:00am and be STARVING? I got up, had some walnuts, a granola bar, and a cup of milk and went back to bed.
DH looked at me as I climbed in bed and was like *** are you doing up? Eating?  Guess I will have to have a snack before bedtime?

Yes! I've woken up around that time and had cereal. I would wake up hungry a lot.

I wake up hungry all the time, so yes, I think it's totally normal at 39 weeks Im still hungry all the time!

This only really happened to me once but this past week I've been starving all the time, all I do is eat, I guess it's cause they grow the most towards the end?
I just ate and I'm thinking about what to eat in an hour

I woke up a few nights ago and ate a pickle, 2 pieces of pepperoni, and a string cheese. DH thought i was nuts too. lol.

I keep cookies and crackers next to my bed cause I either wake up ravenous or sometimes will get very hungry before I fall asleep. Happened to me this morning. I woke up early and was starving but didn't want to get out of bed so I had 2 cookies and some water

oh yeah, every once in awhile I have to eat a bowl of cereal or a banana in the middle of the night.

haha!
yes the first tri was, I think, the worst with hunger!! haha!
Just be careful with snack before bed... only because it can bring on heartburn. Just a warning. It might not.... but it's def possible.
