BTDT Moms-Waste of $ or good idea?

I'm trying to figure out what to get for post delivery in regards to a girdle.

Do you think this is a waste or did something like this help you?

I bought myself a regular girdle from WALMART, yes, WALMART.. I have 3 kids and used it after all three and I can honestly say that I don't look like I have had children and I am a firm believer that this is the reason why..

I got a waist cincher from walmart that had no underwear part (I didn't want to have to take it off and on every time I went to the bathroom)

I didn't use one and my stomach was back to normal very quickly- but I really think it depends on the person- how your skin holds up etc

I had one, but it was for c/section recovery and totally worth it. Having it on, made small movements not hurt like when it wasn't on. I guess it held the scar and insides together?

I was seeing a physical therapist when I was prego, and she said it doesn't matter what you wear as long as it hold you in tight, and as long as you wear it.

I had that one, and I hated it, i never wore it. I sometimes would tolerate wearing a regular girdgle type thing. But I mostly worse spanx - even though its not supposed to help. It just felt good having all that stuff held in, instead of hanging loose ... but it didn't work that well for me. My belly is still looking 4m preggo.

I hear that if you are consistent, and wear something for the first few months PP, you will get your belly back. Just get something you'll like wearing.
