After 10 days... the nickel finally came out! All cleaned and put into his baby book

My cousin ate a nickel when we were younger! Doctor said to just wait until she pooped it out. She did...she is now 25 and getting married next month!

we've caught one of our dds with a quarter in her mouth twice, thankfully we got it out before she could swallow it,

I swallowed 3 nickels when I was a kid. I was hiding them from my brother who was threatning to steal them from me. 
I ended up barfing them up.

my brother ate a quarter off my desk when he was 5 - he went to the ER for xrays just to make sure it wasn't lodged anywhere... it passed 2-3 days later. He's pretty normal now.

I swallowed a nickel when I was a kid! I was like 5 and it was an accident and I was way to embarrassed to tell my mom because I knew she was think I was being such a baby by putting things in my mouth.
Anyway, I had a tummyache for like a day and then nothing. I guess I must have pooped it out or something, I dont remember so that part must not have been traumatic. The actual swallowing of it and being afraid to tell my mom was MUCH worse!
Anyway, to you and your little guy!

My niece swallowed a dime & the dr. said not to worry. It passed in a little over a day.

The ped said to watch for it in his diapers. If not out ina week we will go for xray. I CAN'T BELIEVE HE DID THIS! He is always looking for money on my DH's nightstand and puts it in his piggy bank with us. he KNOWS not to put it in his mouth. This morning he found a nickel in my room and asked to put it in the bank, I said OK after I pee. I guess it is my fault for peeing for 10 secs, with the door open too, I come out and he starts to cry saying "it went down into my tummy."

My DD swallowed a diamond stud about 5 months ago. She passed it 4 days later.
I am sure he will too! I would suggest to check the poop put it in a plastic baggie, like a ziplock bag it made it easier for me to search
