Your reaction is spot on actually. Numbness, distance, even a little nonchalant ... the feelings will come (disappointment, anger, sadness, frustration to name just a few) ....
Hang in there. I am sorry you are going through this, it really does s*ck. When you are ready visit the MC board - there is a LOT of support there for you
