Behrs
Did anyone haggle the price for the furniture down with Behrs? The set I am going to purchase is $200 cheaper somewhere else so I am wondering if I can haggle with them and get it even cheaper or if they are pretty set in their price quotes?

They reduced the total by 5% but I told them that I found it at another store for much cheaper and they didn't really care.. so I went with the other store

We fell in LOVE with a set last weekend...but its a small fortune!

We didn't try to haggle the first time we bought from them.
The second time we made an order for a second crib to match DS furniture. DH asked what kid of discount were they willing to give us for placing a second order. They looked back into our previous order and gave us free shipping and a reduced price on the mattress.

I don't know if they carry EVERYTHING Behrs does but I went to Crib & Teen city in Hartsdale, we spoke to a man named Walter for pricing and even spoke to him about some items he didn't carry.. and he helped us find a store who had them cheaper than Behrs as well. We didn't HAVE to go in store to order it all but we decided to go anyway, it's only about 1/2 an hour from us anyway. The store was nice and they carry a lot. When we went in the store we dealt with him and a woman named DJ, all in all we saved about $300 on the furniture and $100 on the glider b/c of them
