Measuring weight

Does your dr. office subtract certain lbs from the scale to get an accurate reading or is it a range? Just curious.

THe first time I went it was the warmest day of the year so far, no joke. And yesterday I was in jeans and a sweater, so it looked like I gained 6 lbs in 2 weeks.. when I probably gained about 2 or 3.. Chat Icon

Re: Measuring weight

My OB has me take of my shoes but doesn't subtract anything for clothes. I've only been weighed in twice, 14w and 18w and they use the original weight from the OB visit I had from my appt 2 months pre-BFP.

I've been weighing myself every morning after going to the bathroom, taking off my watch and heavy bracelet, and in light or no clothes because my iphone app has a weight tracker. Right now I seem to be on track so I'm not worried but I'd consider raising my own measurements if there was a great discrepancy

Edit: I've been about 1 lb more at the dr office than at home

Re: Measuring weight

I tell my doctors what I weigh that morning at home. I don't trust the scales at the doctor.
