16W and Fluttering under left ribcage
Crazy question.... But yesterday I started feeling a fluttering feeling under my left ribcage.
Has anyone ever had this before?

At 16 weeks I don't think you would feel anything up that high. I'm 21 weeks now and I don't feel anything above my belly button yet.

You can definitely feel the baby at 16, and it can be anywhere in that belly!!!

Re: 16W and Fluttering under left ribcage
I had this around that time but it was on my right side. When I asked my doc about it and showed him where I was feeling it...he told me it was most likely not the baby I was feeling because it was so high up. He said it was most likely digestion...LOL
I was a bit disappointed because i was hoping what I was feeling was the baby but about a week or two later I started feeling little "pops" much lower down in my belly. That was/is definitely the baby! Good Luck :)

Although, I think it's totally possible to feel the baby at 16 weeks, I'm not sure if it's possible to feel it up by your ribcage. I remember the doctor telling me that your uterus is only at your belly button at 20 weeks. I didn't start feeling any movement by my ribcage until I was well into the 30's. I'm not sure if this changes if its your second pregnancy, etc. I should add that I didn't feel the baby at all until my 22 week (I have an anterior placenta) so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
