washing baby's dishes in the dishwasher and a vent about plastic
I cant get over it, I'm starting to think our brand new dishwasher is garbage
1. bottles nipples come out cloudy if I was 1 greasy pan in the load ... so now I have to take it out and scrub it by hand - hate that!
2. Sippies, especially the colored ones, smell like dishwasher soap, or plastic, or something not like what its supposed to...
Am I nuts? or is it just AF on the way and my smell is very heightened as it is. .. but when I drank the leftover water from DS sippy, it tasted like it was laced with plastic or detergent.
I'm using playtex and nubby, and they both do this. The nipples also seems to hold on to detergent smell, but I'd boil them and that took care of that.
I'm so frustrated, what did they do before plastic was invented?

Are they BPA free? The nipples use dto do that in my dishwasher too. We used to throw them in a basin with hot soapy water and then rinse and put in the dishwasher. That helped. Have you added jet dry recently?

DD's sippys often smell like soap after the dishwasher and I wind up washing them by hand also.

Yep, all PBA free!
I don't use jet dry, I use vinegar, would jet dry help more than vinegar?

The same thing happens to me, and I use jet dry. I usually wash gain before I use it.

we use jetdry and the nipples come out cloudy all the time. We wasn the nipples by hand now.
