YOUR Coming Home Outfit

I already have Chat Icon outfit, now I am starting to think about what I come home in. I don't mean this to come off as vain but I just want to leave the hospital looking decent. I have a pair of white long pants that I was thinking of wearing BUT is it ridiculous to think I could wear them? How big of a mess are we talking about down there? Chat Icon

BTDT mom's ideas greatly appreciated!

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

Honestly...I wouldn't wear white...but thats just me.

I had VERY comfortable pants, and very loose pants...thank god, cause I had a c-section and the pants needed to be above my section line.

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

I wore yoga pants....def would not wear white.

I had a csec and the yoga pants were fine. It was freezing out and we came straight home so it wasnt like I was walking the runway. We opted for no visitors that day as well.

White, is not smart. Comfort is key, if you have a cs you are going to want something loose and light on your stomach. Just think comfort.

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

I most definitely would not wear white. Things get very messy down there.

With DS I wore black crop pants and a tank top (it was June).

This time I packed a t-shirt and black yoga pants. Sorry, but I am all about comfort!

I would NOT wear white! No no no!

I'm planning on wearing sweats, honestly. Cruddy old sweats I don't care about because of the amount of bodily fluids from both myself and DD that I anticipate getting on them!

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

Yeah - wouldn't do the white.... sorry.

I came home in one of my maternity cropped cargos, and a cute blouse. It was August, and a heat wave.

would you wear white on your heavy flow days? I wouldn't, but some do.

I wore yoga pants...there is a good chance that you will not fit into regular clothes.

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

Ill probably be wearing a very easy outfit. Since you never know what happens i think comfort & ease is best. You can still look good. Like my hair & make-up will be done. But definitely a cute running outfit or yoga outfit suits me fine. lol

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

With DD and DS I wore yoga pants and a nice t, all non maternity, just bigger than my normal size.

Comfy and neat. I plan to do the same with this one.

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

I wore a pair of my maternity jeans and a sweater. The full-panel jeans actually gave my tummy some support and they didn't rub against the incision (I had a c-section). I wouldn't do white.

I will tell you that my sneakers didn't fit, which was not something I thought about. Your feet swell up like crazy after having a baby, and I didn't realize how long it would be before I could fit in shoes. I ended up wearing my shower shoes home.

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

White is the LAST color i would suggest!

I wore black yoga type pants and a long sleeved tee. I was comfy but i did shower, do my hair and makeup before i left each time.

Honestly, what i wore was kind of the last thing i thought about. Just being comfortable was enough lol

Re: YOUR Coming Home Outfit

I wore a cute sweatsuit. It was warm so it was pretty much a tank top that said "Hot Mama" on it. It was all black and the words were hot pink.

Pretty much as soon as I got home I changed and showered b/c I wanted to feel real clean. Never felt that way from the hospital shower.
Then it was back in PJ's. LOL
