Is painting a no-no?

We are trying to finish up a few more projects around the house. We have some of the nursery left too. Chat Icon

Can I help Dh? Or is this something Thars completely off limits? I just want to finish quicker and it's stressing me out that we don't have much time left.

Re: Is painting a no-no?

I helped paint with both pregnancies.

Make sure the room is well ventilated and take breaks if you need to. My dr said it was fine to paint.

Re: Is painting a no-no?

we just painted one of our rooms in our house, altho DH did not let me help cuz the thought the fumes would be bad, the room is open to the rest of the house and it stunk up the whole house, so smelling it was inevitable.

Re: Is painting a no-no?

Go for it, as everyone said just keep the windows open...might be a little chilly so put on a jacket while you're painting Chat Icon

Re: Is painting a no-no?

My doc told me I could be int he house, but not the same room where the painting is being done. We ended up choosing BM Aura paint because it has no VOCs, so it was ok to be around.

Re: Is painting a no-no?

I helped paint, I even went to my sisters and helped paint her new house when I was PG.

I just made sure the room was well ventilated and I stepped out for some fresh air.

Re: Is painting a no-no?

I primed and painted three rooms this weekend. All windows open and it was fine. I started with a mask but couldn't take stand it. I really didn't need the mask because it was well ventilated.
