has retin a micro worked for anyone?
i am week 7 and still breaking out and peeling...my skin looked better before. sigh

yeah, i've tried lots of things over the years. my skin isn't bad, but i wanted it to be better...yeah, well...not so good with RAM! I do best when I stick to natural, gentle things. WHY did I start this???

What has worked best for me is Azelax at night and Duac in the morning, with Cetaphil cleanser.

I use Duac in the morning sometimes...it really helps control oil!

I know! It's one of the few things that helps with my skin. I get oily by mid-morning! What else really helped for me is that my dermatologist gives me acid peels, which really shrinks pores and makes skin more even.

I used RAM for a long time and it worked but I felt like I was on it so long it stopped. I stopped a couple of months ago and use Neutrogena stuff but that stopped working so I just started Benzaclin two weeks ago. So far it is working but my face is getting really dry.

I'm on Duac now (in the AM) - has made my skin very smooth (pores appear smaller) and back on Differin in the PM. The Differin is starting to make my face red & peely (oh-so-sexy) but only b/c I've gone up from every other night to every night.
Still breaking out...but I was asked to give it two months. It's been about 3.5 weeks now. Oh, and my face is VERY sensitive to the sun b/c of the Duac.

duac is nice...it's good for day time. but between the tretinoin (RAM) and the Benzoyl in Duac, I'm also really sens. to the sun. I was out this weekend with SPF 30 on and my skin was still hot when I came in...i don't know if I want to deal with that for summer.

I was in the Bahamas last week and my Derm told me not to use it while down there - regardless of the fact that I wear 30spf 24/7. She also mentioned that it works in your system for 16 days...so even though I wasn't applying it, it was working. (not sure how much I buy that  )
Maybe tweak the dosage - apply the RAM every other or every third night...

wait...duac stays in for 16 or RAM?
