Totally. My OB told me not to think of TUMS as medicine. These have become my lifesaver. I highly suggest the TUMS smoothies assorted fruit - they are actually pretty yummy

yes but I found that Tums didn't even work that well. My OB recommended taking Pepcid 2x a day daily. This helped alot more.

Yes...tums are OK.
My doctor also put me on Pepcid AC pills...1 - 2 a day.
The combination does help A LOT!!! I can't say I never have heartburn... but it'soooo much more manageable now!
I've had heartburn problems from before being pregnant... so this really catapulted that issue for me!

Just be careful. I took a lot of rums during my first and my doctor believes it was the reason for my impacted bowels. Sorry about TMI but I would never want anyone to experience it. It is compared to giving birth.
