Girls on Team Green or considering being on team Green
I have done it both ways now. I found out with my son (DH really wanted to know) and now with this baby we did it my way and have not found out. I am now in my 36 week and the anticipation is so amazing. I really can't wait to find out. I remember being excited of course close to delivery with my son with the anticipation of who he was going to look like and meeting him for the first time. This time it is even more then that. It is alot of fun getting people to try to guess the gender of the baby and hearing all the theories for why they think it is a boy or girl. Since we don't know the gender, we have also kept our name selections to ourselves to reveal only once LO arrives. I just wanted to say that being on team  this time for us has been so much fun!!!

I love reading this. We found out with DS but I really want to wait with this one. DH really wants to find out and I am not sure how much self control I have. I am happy to read this because it gives me more motivation that it is all worth it in the end!

That's awesome. I'm torn on whether to go green or find out, but hubby really wants to find out, so our plan is like yours: The first one we will find out, and the next one will be a surprise!

Hey Heather  We didnt find out with Katie and we aren't going to find out this time around. Its so exciting to wonder and guess and then have that moment in the hospital. I can't wait.

this is good to read for me. We are Team Green this time around but we found out with DD. I always wanted to find out, DH did not so we did it his way this time. I still want to find out all the time and I actually hate being Team Green. I dont feel connected to this baby and I feel overwhelmed with having to pick two names. It is just my nature to want to be totally prepared. But DH really wanted this and he never asks for anything so we are doing it this way.
BUT thank you for writing that because I am hoping I will start feeling that way soon!

Couldn't agree more.
if you can get past the half way mark then might as well stick to it
we didn't find out with DS and loved it!! We loved announcing the sex and name to everyone. We also didn't reveal the names we had.
We're doing the same with this one too. I'm 24 weeks and can't wait to tell everyone... it's a XXXX

I agree! This is our first and we're team green. It is so fun to see how tortured people are by not knowing the gender or names. If I didn't actually want to be team green, that would be enough to make me want to be.

You know what I really love about being Team Green? I love how much it pisses people off that you aren't finding out. It's so funny to me how random people in my life (for example my BF's roomate from college) became so aggravated when I said we weren't finding out. I don't get why it makes people so annoyed but it definitely keeps me swaying from team green. (In addition to the excitement of course)

We are team AND IT IS KILLING US!!! When we tell people we are not finding out half of them say 'good for you!' and he other half get annoyed..lol We love not knowing, but at the same time, we would love to plan out the nursery and pick gender specific stroller/pack n play, etc. but I think in the end it will be worth the surprise!

I loveed being team for our first and we will be team again this time! It was a great experience for us and our families loved it as well. There was soooo much excitment in that delivery room and then when we announced it to our family and friends. I couldn't imagine having it any other way!
